Our prices are competitive, and we will always give you a written estimate first. We charge less and on top of that, we provide the highest quality work in the city. Some examples of our prices are as follows; Raccoons in Attic: This almost always involves an adult female and a litter of baby raccoons. The nest of baby raccoons must be removed, and the mother trapped. This requires multiple service visits. The entry holes must be found and repairs are often extensive. The attic might need cleaning, and damage to ducts, insulation, etc. might be necessary. The total job might range from $300 on up for a complete solution. Rodents in a Building: The problem will never be permanently solved until all possible entry points into a building are sealed shut with steel. Rats and mice can enter through very small holes, including plumbing lines, roof pipes, and any area they can chew into. They must all be trapped and removed, and this requires multiple service visits. It's possible that the attic could require cleaning afterward. The total job might be $300 on up. Simple Ground Trapping: If you need nuisance animals trapped and removed, we will likely charge a service call visit to come to the property and set up the traps. The traps will need to be monitored, the animals removed, and driven to relocation points, or euthanized and cremated if your state law requires it. The total job might be $200 on up.

Chautauqua County wildlife control Tip of the Month:
You have trapped the opossum. Now what?
You had a possum problem in your house. And before it became the possum's routine and got out of hand. You swiftly dealt with it. You laid traps with baits and caught it alive. But now you don't know what to do with it because you are not some nerdy guy interested in law. You have no idea about the restrictions regarding where and how can you release possums. You won't just let it be. It might have taken a liking to your house and come back. We don't want to happen, do we? These mammals are rotten smelly, and they have 6-10 babies in one litter for crying out loud. What is your house an animal breeding center?
Wildlife Protection Law
The Wildlife Protection Law states that you are permitted to trap a possum. Don't get your hopes up just yet. It also says that you are not allowed to harm the animal in any way. The animal has to be released on the property it was captured and within 50 meters of the trapping location. So there you have. You went through all this trouble to give the poor, hungry possum a treat and then just let it go.
Wildlife Reserves
There is always a catch to laws. Although you can't release it far away from the property, you can take it to a wildlife reserve. It is a viable option. Even national parks work. But these places don't just pop up. And they most certainly aren't located in every city. So you might not have access to them. Try to make your surroundings as less attractive for opossums as you can. Repair any broken fences and openings. Try not to leave food spilled and close your trash cans and bins properly.
Make your move silently
If you are not some lawyer or police officer and don't have an exceptionally strong sense of justice. Cheating the law a little won't hurt anyone would like it? It is an extremely tempting alternative. "If you can't climb the mountain go around it." Ignore the law put the possum in the car and drive far. Release it somewhere it can never even think of your house again. As the saying goes "It's not a crime if you don't get caught." In contrast to this, you can even kill it. It can be done; possums are killed year-round one more wouldn't do much would it. Although I strongly suggest the previous. All I'm saying is that it is possible.
Do you have a permit?
You require a permit to take a possum away from the property it was trapped on. Now, wait a minute you think everybody rams around with a permit in their pockets? No right? This is where the professional kick in. You can easily find and call for people who have a permit to take the bother away for good. Now it won't be free, but it's very much affordable. Or you could get a permit yourself if you like it.
